The Canadian Pinto Horse Association offers various areas of involvement for members. Members can compete and earn points towards year end programs and lifetime achievements. The CPtHA holds two shows each year, as well as having various ROM programs and year end awards.

Canadian Pinto Horse Registration
Registration Requirements
Light Horse
➤ Height 14.1 hands or taller
➤ Minimum white requirement for regular registration is cumulative of 50 square inches behind the eyes and above the knees.
➤ One registered parent from any light horse registry except for Appaloosa.
Draft
➤ Minimum white requirement for regular registration is cumulative of 50 square inches behind the eyes and above the knees.
➤ One registered parent from any light or draft horse registry except for Appaloosa.
Pony
➤ Under 14.1 hands but above 38 inches
➤ Minimum cumulative of 25 square inches of white behind the eyes and above the knees.
➤ No parent verification is needed. If a registered parent is listed then it must be proven by a copy of their registration papers.
Miniature
➤ Under 38 inches
➤ Minimum cumulative of 25 square inches of white behind the eyes and above the knees.
➤ No parent verification is needed. If a registered parent is listed then it must be proven by a copy of their registration papers.
Hardship Registration
➤ Light Horses or Draft Horses are eligible for Hardship Registration.
➤ Mares or geldings of any age (No Stallions) without pedigree information, who meet the colour requirements (cumulative of 50 square inches of white behind the eyes and above the knees) will qualify.
